Pingtung Science Park- A Hub for Industrial Innovation and Transformation in Pingtung
On January 10 and September 4, 2021, Premier Su Tseng-chang went down to Southern Taiwan to inspect and oversee the
renovation of the Pingtung High-speed Railway Designated Area into a new urban center for industries, life, and education.
The Park was immediately planned and prepared to introduce smart agriculture, healthcare, green materials, aerospace
technology, and other newly emerging technology. Public work and factories are expected to begin synchronously in April,
2023, which will create an annual revenue of NT$36 billion and 5,400 jobs.

Chiayi Science Park-Incorporation of
Agricultural into Technology
On December 19, 2020 and September 5, 2021, Premier Su
Tseng-chang went down to Southern Taiwan to oversee the
establishment of Chiayi Science Park in Taipao, a corporative
project between the local and central government for the
prosperity of Chiayi.
The Park is now under planning and preparation and in
the future, industries including precision healthcare, smart
wearable devices, smart agriculture, and other newly emerging
technology will be introduced. Public offices and factories are
expected to begin construction in April, 2023 which will create
an annual revenue of NT$38 billion and 5,700 jobs.
Expansion of Phase III of the Tainan Science Park
In 2021, concrete expansion and environmental impact Premier Su Tseng-chang’s Inspection of Chiayi Science Park
assessment were actively conducted. Public work and factories (2021/09/05)
are expected to begin synchronously in July, 2023, which will
create an annual revenue of NT$39.2 billion and 4,900 jobs.
