Positioning for the Future, the Vision of the STSP

Upgrading Industrial Clusters

The STSP has already established industrial clusters for semiconductors and the optoelectronic industry. Green, low-carbon industries
are steadily developing on the foundation set by the aerospace and precision machinery industries. In the future, the STSP will work
with the government to promote the five major innovative industries flagship plan in order to improve the STSP’s smart manufacturing,
continue developing green energy, upgrade smart biotech industries and use R&D subsidies to transform, upgrade and encourage all
industries to work with international tech companies, thereby improving all industrial clusters.

Ingraining Innovation and Entrepreneurship

By working on the foundation set by the MoST’s “From IP to IPO” program, the STSP has already seen great results and will continue
helping innovative teams to expand education, train start up teams and provide guidance for new companies, encourage creative
exchanges in MakerSpace, provide a solutions platform and solve company problems across different fields. Additionally, the STSPB
will use research-level, people based, international flagship smart service robot founder base, attracting users from all levels of schools,
industries, and international groups, developing inter-disciplinary innovators who can meet industry demands.

Creating a Green Environment

The STSPB has earned honors for its sustainability: a gold medal from the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy’s Top 50 Corporate
Sustainability Report, a Social Inclusion Award, as well as a Green Renewable Company Award from the British Standards Institution,
furthermore we will continue to create a sustainable park.
