Pushed by market demands for 5G products, high-performance computing chips, and the stay-at-home economy, STSP exports
totaled NT$525.397 billion in 2021, with a growth of 3.18%; and imports totaled NT$264.369 billion in 2021, with a growth of 25.94%.

Number of Workers Employed over the Years

As of the end of 2021, the number of workers employed in the STSP was 84,050, an increase of 4,029 workers compared
the end of 2020. This was a record high number of employees, indicating the STSP’s successful investment and recruitment
strategies to ensure a brighter future.
