Building Innovative Maker Space of AI Robots
The AI Robots Innovative MakerSpace worked with the relevant
student clubs of senior high and vocational high schools to
organize FRC training camps, RoboRAVE robot competition
courses, and WRO robot soccer games to build open innovative
platforms. These events attracted the participation of 141 senior
and vocational high school students as well as 96 junior high
and elementary school students. Through training, students of
the National Nanke International Experimental High School
went to participate in the 2017 RoboRAVE contest in Kaga,
Japan, and were awarded with the Robovte creative design
▌FRC Robot Seedling Team and Teachers’ Training at STSP(August 20, 2017)
first prize .
Startup Innovation Festival
The “2017 STSP Innovation Festival” invited ten innovation
units, four angle ventures, three international press agencies
, and 15 startups from Singapore and the Philippines to
organize the first international startup innovation festival in
Southern Taiwan.
The Festival also invited 35 domestic and international
startup teams to set up their booths at the “International

demonstrated by domestic and international angle venture
capitalists and business representatives. The teams with
the most investment value were selected, and the winning
teams from Taiwan included Beseye, Starwing, and Gecoll.
STSP x StarFab Led Seven Startups
First Participation in 2017 Meet Taipei
In 2017, the STSP participated for the first time in Asia’s
largest startup festival, Meet Taipei, and set up its pavilion
to demonstrate the outstanding performance of the seven
startups incubated in the STSP. Series design activities were
▌Popular STSP Pavilion, “Innovation Super Highway,” at “Meet Taipei” (November 16, 2017) also arranged at the pavilion, which attracted many visitors
during the festival.
Nine Mentored Teams Ranked among the Top Ten
of the 2017 FITI Competition
In 2017, five mentored teams (Knight Digital Technology, Deep
Robotics, Gecoll, Herbal Pharmaily, and NeuroSpace) received
Outstanding Innovation Awards and four received Innovation
Potential Awards. In addition to the FITI Competition, in the same
year Knight Digital Technology was also awarded with the Social
Contribution Award, Yunus CSR Award, and Bronze Award for Smart
▌FITI Winning Teams and Distinguished Guests (November 27, 2017) City Creativity at the TIC Social Enterprise Competition.
